Woodpecker Scaler Tips Perio P1, P2, and P3 are specific scaler tips designed for periodontal therapy. They are used with an ultrasonic scaler to remove plaque and calculus from below the gumline in periodontal pockets.
P1 is a straight scaler tip with a pointed end, used for removing heavy calculus deposits from the interproximal surfaces of the teeth. It is also effective for removing subgingival calculus on the buccal and lingual surfaces of anterior teeth.
P2 is a curved scaler tip with a rounded end, used for removing heavy calculus deposits from below the gumline on the mesial and distal surfaces of posterior teeth. It is also effective for removing subgingival calculus on the buccal and lingual surfaces of posterior teeth.
P3 is a sickle-shaped scaler tip with a pointed end, used for removing medium to heavy calculus deposits from the subgingival surfaces of the teeth. It is especially effective for removing calculus from deep periodontal pockets.
The Woodpecker Scaler Tips Perio P1, P2, and P3 are made of high-quality stainless steel and are compatible with Woodpecker ultrasonic scalers. They are color-coded for easy identification and can be autoclaved for sterilization. Using the appropriate scaler tip during periodontal therapy helps to effectively remove calculus and plaque, preventing further gum disease and promoting better oral health.
